It all begins with an idea and a desire be better. Instead of making movement/ fitness overwhelming, I propose fitting movement into your daily activities. I don’t know about you, but adding one more thing on to my day is not going to happen. Exercise equals movement. Movement depends on where you start. Some of you reading this are currently following a fitness program, and some of you have never thought about movement as exercise. Good for you if you already have an exercise program. These ideas can still help all of you. So what can you incorporate easily into any of your daily activities? Or fit into your already busy day. Hopefully, showering each day and brushing your teeth are daily habits. So why not do 10 pushups while you're waiting for the shower to warm up? Or 10 air squats while brushing your teeth or waiting for coffee to brew? Or start with 5 push-ups or air squats. Start where you are. If you already have an exercise program, maybe add a weighted vest. Take a walk with your family after dinner. Movement doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.
